Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit jokeydoodles.com (the “site”), run by Jokey Doodles. Short version: we do not use tracking cookies, we do not run ads or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not sell or share personal data.
Anonymous visit statistics
To know which jokes people enjoy, the site counts page views and video plays with a small first-party script. It does not set cookies and does not use local storage or device fingerprinting for tracking. For each event we store: the page and video, the time, a referring website (for example “google” or “youtube”), device type (phone or computer) and the country reported by our network provider.
To count unique visitors per day we compute a one-way hash of your IP address and browser user agent combined with a random value that changes every day and is then deleted. Your IP address itself is never stored, and the daily hash cannot be linked to the same visitor on another day. Statistics are kept as aggregates for up to 24 months.
Server and network logs
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver pages securely and protect the site from abuse (see Cloudflare’s privacy policy). Our own server does not keep access logs with IP addresses.
Cookies
The public site sets no cookies. A single strictly necessary cookie is used only by our private editor panel for signed-in staff; visitors never receive it.
Embedded and linked services
Videos on this site are hosted by us — no YouTube or social media players are embedded, so no third party is contacted when you watch. Links to our profiles on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other networks take you to those services, whose own privacy policies apply.
Contacting us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the site does not store directly identifying data, we usually cannot link statistics to you, but we will gladly answer any request at [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is a general-audience comedy site. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
